    NBA Free Agency

Kwame Brown looks to sign with the L.A. Lakers, in a sign and trade for Caron Butler and Chuck Atkins. No love lost there.

Miami has a new coach in Pat Riley, or old coach, well either way he is in Miami. Looks good for Miami, here's hoping for Shaq's health.

Damon Stoudamire looks to sign with Huston, giving them a fighting chance in the playoffs. Giving them strong 1,2 and 5 positions to go into next season.

Nate McMillan drops the Sonics and moves on to the Terrible Trailblazers.

    Alpha Update

Alpha now has four students and we are only a few weeks away from finishing the pet resort. This has been a crazy last two months though. Many students have come and gone. But always we are serving and growing here.

    NBA Live 2006

This game is going to rock I have a link for the video and there are pictures as well. The 05' version was great but it had a few flaws. 06' is beautiful and the players even more realistic, as is their playing style, I'm ordering early.

  • Cavs Settle on Hughes

I think this is going to be a great move for the Cavs, now they have a true shooting gaurd in Larry Hughes who is scoring better than 22ppg and almost 5 assists, to add to LeBron. And the Cavs although they are in the weaker conference will be able to make the playoffs. Between the two players you have 60 points or 62% of the offense, not to mention James' 7+ assists per game.
I wouldn't exactly say the Cavs are settling, especially with an underrated Hughes and well, the King.

  • Something

I just read something interesting in a book by Andrew Murray. He is talking about men called by God, he mentions that God gives them authority over men, and at the same time God gave these men (Abraham, Samuel, Daniel), the right to call in the powers of heaven to their aid as they needed them.
For us as leaders, we too can call upon these powers of heaven to our aid. We have no need to fear the difficulties of leadership, but to trust in Jesus' aid.

    Under Three

    Matthew 28:18-20

    John 14:6
I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through Me.
    -Jesus

In these two verses lies so much truth and so much confusion and misunderstanding. I believe in these verses and so have so many other people, but so many have taken this scripture and used it for their own benefit. Under Three is myself being under the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, if only more could understand this. I have made another website that is dedicated to the stories of those who believe in Jesus and his work. I invite you to read the testimonies/stories and make comments ask questions. Most of all be encouraged by what God has done for us. You can click the link below or the Testimonies link on the right, to go to the site.

  • Graduation from Cal Poly

Thank you to my mom, dad, sister, and the rest of my family. You have all been so awesome in the last four years. I guess Melissa is up next. I can't believe how fast four years went. I know you can't see the pictures, just click on it to get an enlarged view. I think you will see some proud parents, (thanks mom and dad), and some happy friends (free tri tip is always good). Thanks to you all you are awesome, and congrats! to the other grads. Comment if you want me to send you a picture. I guess this is a big deal and I should make a point of it by puting it on my website.

  • My Friend

Why do you hold on to me so close? I am a friend who has failed you again and again. Yet you come to me and talk with me. You never fail to forgive. You always care even when I am not there. To what do I owe this gracious gift. You speak the words I am afraid to hear. You make everything so much more clear.

When I am with you there is no need to be afraid, no need to pretend. I can pour out my heart and I know you will listen. You always listen even when I am not there. To what do I owe this gracious gift.

When is it your turn, How can I hold you so close? You ask that I be changed and listen to you. You ask and I ask you listen and I listen. But everyone knows, I don’t follow through.

You offer your everything, what am I to offer for your pain? How can you hold me so close? I am a friend that has failed you again and again. Promises were made promises were broken. Lets not pretend anymore, I am trapped in this world and afraid to climb out. I look to you my friend, but I have so much doubt.

If only I knew how to let go… Now I listen now I know. He speaks the words I am afraid to hear His grace is sufficient for me.

    Kutless

    Sea of Faces
I see the city lights all around me
    Everyone's obscure
Ten million people each with their problems
    Why should anyone care

And in Your eyes I can see
I am not just a man, vastly lost in this world
Lost in a Sea of Faces
Your body's the bread, Your blood is the wine
Because you traded Your life for mine

Sometimes my life it feels so trivial
Immersed in the greatness of space
Yet somehow you still find the time for me
It's then You show me Your love

And In Your eyes I can see
And in Your arms I will be
I am not just a man, vastly lost in this world
Lost in a Sea of Faces
Your body's the bread, Your blood is the wine
Because you traded Your life for mine

    If only my one heart
Was all you'd gain from all it cost
Well I know you would have still been a man
    With a reason
    To willingly offer your life

I am not just a man, vastly lost in this world
Lost in a Sea of Faces
Your body's the bread, Your blood is the wine
Because you traded Your life for mine

Just one in a million faces

    Alpha

Alpha Academy is a non-profit organization that seeks to give male 18+ year olds an opportunity to experience life with rules and boundries. These are based on Christian priciples and help the student to learn and gain a foundation for their lives. Many students come to Alpha seeking guidance on where to go in life, and leave greatly encouraged, and guided by where God has them go. These students have diverse backgrounds, some include juvinile hall, others drugs, alcohol, and many other areas. But the central theme is loving on the students with Jesus' love, and allowing them to develop a relationship with God and to learn from God. Giving them a new map for their lives, so they may be God loving productive men.
